Los Angeles County finds itself in a bit of a quagmire. The Los Angeles River is in danger. The riverbed has been found to be so low that it can’t float boats, and it is being deemed as unnavigatable. the problem with that is that when a river is found to be unnavigatable, it loses its protection rights. Now I may just be a novice at this but, shouldn’t all water rights be protected? It is time that government officials stand up and start to actively protect our ecosystem. Los Angeles County needs to protect its water, end of story.
